It is an application if you have no teeth left in your mouth. These are prostheses made of acrylic, which are supported by the bone tissue remaining in the lower and upper jaw, creating a vacuum force, providing stability, completing the aesthetic and functional deficiency of the person.

It is difficult to use under normal conditions. There are various methods to increase the retention of the total prosthesis. In elderly patients, two or three implants are applied and the retention is increased with their help. It should be renewed every 5 years. In terms of health, it is inconvenient to use porcelain teeth in the back areas of total prostheses, plastic teeth can cause discoloration and wear over time. For this reason, it is recommended to use porcelain teeth in the anterior regions and acrylic teeth in the posterior molar regions. Special preparations sold in pharmacies should be used to clean the prostheses.
